Ibis landing
Back on the 30 January I blipped our local Australian White Ibis at the Belair National Park Lake. I have seen this resident pair around many times since, but never had a good reason to blip one of them again.
Today that changed when I caught this one, swooping in to land nearby when it noted people with a bag full of bread. I love the way he puts his undercarriage down for landing!
Bigger and better feathers.
Our Australian White Ibis is widespread in most parts of Australia. It is found very happily in lakes such as our Playford Lake in Belair National Park.
The red skin is just visible on the underside of the wing.
