Unhappy

First weekday of spring break and I am happy to report that I stayed in bed until 11am. It was glorious. On the other hand however I found out that the volunteer program of my dreams has been phased out. It was to volunteer at The Sloth Sanctuary in Coast Rica. I've wanted to do it for the past 3 years but something always came up and was first priority. But I was so disappointed that I cried to Ethan for almost 30 min. I was soothed by the fact that they still have a hotel on the premises and offer and "insiders tour" which will still allow me to meet all the sloths and interact with them for at least a little. So not all is lost. I will also keep looking for more volunteer opportunities to work with sloths. It's on my bucket list.

Brooklyn was also pretty unhappy today when Melanie decided to clean the covers of Brooklyn's living room bed (she has three beds around the house and also sleeps through the night on either my parents' bed or Mel's bed, spoiled dog). She barked at Melanie for nearly 5 min and then just say down and gave up.
