It seemed a waste being inside on a beautiful day trying to locate the source of a large damp patch in the kitchen ceiling and below the bathroom.   The bath panel was removed revealing a load of builder’s rubbish and washers below the bath but no apparent leak.  Eventually a puddle started running along the floor and the source was found.  The inlet pipe to the toilet cistern had a leak so after the tank was emptied and dried and towels wrapped around the pipe the problem was partially solved until a plumber can replace a part.  Fortunately we have another toilet and hopefully the damp patch will dry out with the adjacent electric wiring unaffected and the leak is not as bad as it could have been.  So by the time we went for a short walk the sun had almost disappeared.
