Climate Change?

On a day like today I'm tempted to say "I wish it would".... But having just watched Don't Look Up I can't bring myself to joke about it.
Salticus scenics, looked up in my really rather excellent spider book - photographs of every UK species. These little jumping spiders are common in the South but rarer the further North you go, they also are predominantly (historically) seen in Spring and Summer.
We'll we live a long way North and its the middle of a very wet winter...
