The Croods
Today was the last day of holiday camp. We went to the movies and despot my boss's expectation the kids were pleasantly split between wanting to watch GI Joe and The Croods (he initially had planned that we all would only see GI Joe, but I pointed out that the Croods was playing only 10 min earlier, and was the same length as the other movie). We put the two movies to a vote and got an overwhelming response from the kids and 2/3 of the group chose to see The Croods (hah, Larry).
It was a really touching movie about family, innovative thinking, and adventure. I loved it more than I ever expected. IT ALSO FEATURES A SLOTH NAMED BELT. OMG. My favorite animal for those of you who don't know. :)
Later on I met up with my friend Kelvin and we tried again in vain to go to the Chelsea Art Museum (which has the weirdest hours). It was closed so we went on a tea date to Argo Tea and I got a warm Pom Tea with a banana nut muffin. Yum! I love hanging out with Kelvin. He's always a great friend to have teas area and just chill and talk about life without worry of judgment or anything of that sort.
