(002) Uphill Struggle

Well, maybe not quite a struggle but three weeks off the bike certainly didn't make the ride any easier. This is a view from a very breezy Rhind Hill, looking south over Glenrothes and towards the Pentland Hills that are faintly visible in the distance. As well as having to contend with a stiff breeze there was also way too much mud for my liking. I don't really have tyres that are suited to ploughing through the mucky stuff so there was a fair bit of pushing the bike when lack of traction made riding impossible. Roll on summer and the dry and dusty trails!
