The road less travelled

This is as far as I’ve ventured today….looking out of our bedroom window!

The close looks quite tidy at the moment, thanks to a visit from the road sweeper on Friday; he did a good job of sweeping up the last of the leaves. Shame next doors rotting pumpkin is still there though

The weather really hasn’t been up to much at all, so staying home was just the ticket for me.

Mr A popped out to get us a takeaway brunch, which we both really enjoyed as a change.

I feel a bit less snotty today but my head is still pounding; paracetamol just doesn’t seem to be touching it but it’s been like this for weeks now. I’m not sure amitriptyline (that the doc has suggested) is the answer.
I’d rather address the root cause than mask it with meds.

To say I’ve had two whole weeks off work, it doesn’t feel like it, even though we’ve done nothing but isolate.

I’m making us roast beef short rib & all the trimmings for tea tonight and there might even be pudding ;-)
