The weird plant has a purple flower. When I came downstairs I was convinced that Mark and Norm were playing a joke. I thought they’d put a false flower on there. As you can guess I’m the butt of family jokes quite often. Norm claims it’s a sign of affection. The house is quiet now they’ve all gone home. My granddaughter took my slippers and the spare toothbrush home. I was secretly pleased because I didn’t find the slippers very comfortable.
