Windy Walk

We got up before it was light to head off on a big New Years Day walk. We nearly gave up part way around as it was very very windy, but decided to keep going, and I'm really glad we did. The weather wasn't brilliant, but the rain pretty much held off. I love the view through the wind farm towards the distance... the big buildings on the horizon on the right hand side are Manchester city centre, looking moody in the mist.

We got home, with very tired legs as it was a lot of hill walking over the 11 1/2 miles!
