Red Arrow

Ironic, that we came across some old pictures in the loft, only to find one that almost exactly resembles a blown head gasket. Which is exactly what happened to me today. Our beloved red Meriva died on me with a plume of white smoke on the motorway between jobs. Luckily I was able to get enough momentum to come off the motorway and pull up by a pub whilst rolling down hill. The AA guy was quick, just grinned and said I need to get a Ford! Luckily, again the garage where we have it serviced was round the corner so we ended up leaving it there. Highly annoying when we are about to move house and having trailer/towbar combo that can no longer be used just makes things a tad more annoying. An excuse to hire a white van for a week? Luckily (again) we break up on Friday......
