Day 49: Parents Visit

Mum and Dad stayed over tonight as they took Lucy back to uni in Hull and decided they'd like to treat Emma and I to a meal out and to try out our new mattress in the spare room.

They treated us to a lovely meal out at Saffron just around the corner from Lincoln cathedral which is an amazing Indian restaurant. This was a photo of our starters - not that we really needed them with poppadoms before this and then the curries that were to come afterwards. Good food though so worth the pain, ha!

Popped to the Widow Cullen's Well pub before the meal as well for some locally brewed ales - for us chaps - and wine - for the ladies.
