Sleeping Peacefully.

We had a quiet New Year's Eve, no parties going on.  We heard some fireworks at 8.30, a couple at 10.20!,  then quite a few at midnight.  And that was it.

Woke up this morning to the rain bucketing down, so I gave up on my plans to go out.

Took some of my decorations down, but I'm leaving the trees up for a bit longer.  They brighten up these dull, rainy days.

Sophia sat with me as I watched one of my favourite films, Where Eagles Dare.

She likes her chin to be rubbed, and she actually purred, not something she does very much.
