Christmas Plant

Miss M bought this plant for her brother for Christmas. Some kind of cactus I think. It’s very attractive.
We’ve had a chilled sort of New Year’s Day.
Mr M and I went for a run this morning - my second 5K this week. Feels good to be getting back to running.
Then we went for a dog walk this afternoon with Miss M.
Had a wonderful roast lamb dinner in the evening. Mr M’s mum was supposed to be joining us but as two of the kids have been in contact with friends who have tested positive, she decided to stay away. Both have booked PCRs tomorrow even though their lateral flows are negative. Fingers crossed they’ll stay negative.
In the evening we watched two thrilling quarter finals in the darts world championships. Unfortunately the Welsh man lost in a very close match. I’ve never watched darts before, but I’m really getting into it!
Miss M leaves tomorrow morning. I’m not looking forward to that. It’s been so nice having all the kids at home together for such a long time.
