Barn Owl

On my way to my camera club meeting I saw a white blur in the corner of my eye, I stopped in a convenient passing place and eventually this beautiful bird appeared out of the tussocky grass, haven't really done him justice but still a very nice encounter, and then a superb talk by Fran Halsall a peak district photographer at the top of her game, check out her website for some great landscapes
