Brilliant Sun at 9:20 a.m.

And another day of bitter cold. It was - 35C when I awoke this morning with a forecast high of - 26C (wind chill of - 47C). It’s beginning to feel as though this cold snap is permanent. I wish I had never heard of polar vortex.
