Contrasts 2022

Spikey or smooth, sharp or soft, everything in life is a contrast.
After hearing a photography friend say he'd bought himself some macro equipment (Laowa 100mm lens) I thought Id have a play with my Laowa lens and ring lights with some lovely flowers Garri's daughter bought me. 
As my wonderful man has taken Mum home to Fort William, and he's now on his return journey which will be another 9 hours down the country after an hour and a half's kip.
Mums home safe so I just need him home safe now.

Here is a shot from a quick mess about with gear today. The veins in the leaf are all the different paths we can take or get pushed into.
