Cape Honeysuckle

This bright orange flowered buzzer-pleaser hails from Southern Africa. It's almost too easy to grow! This one has been flowering for weeks along Fletch's and my morning walk route. Today it was visited by lots of honey bees. In the *extra...a Eastern Phoebe. A native to our area, Phoebes are somewhat secretive and are heard more often than seen. This little sweetie has been hanging out in our front yard of late. I was happy to get a decent shot of her.
