We'll try again

Every year, I post this image, just changing the date. 
Every year, I hope for better times ahead. And these last two years especially, I hope that we can overcome the plague that descended upon us.
But this year, there were additional challenges for us. 
Variants that seem to sprout like weeds when we all thought the end was in sight. 
The forest fires of the summer which destroyed entire communities.
Unheard of temperatures of 47c here in town. 
An atmospheric river that brought floods such as not seen in current lifetimes. 
And then record breaking low temperatures and snow.

Yes, we were lucky. We escaped any devastating effects from nature. 
We stayed healthy.. 
We even managed to get away a couple of times.
And for these reasons, I am grateful.

So here's to a healthy and happy 2022 to everyone, blippers included LOL.
