The Western Isles

Today I have travelled over 350 miles from Linlithgow to Aberdeen to Aboyne then onto Inverness and finally Portree on Skye. It took the best part of 12h but it was worth it as by the time we were approaching the Skye Bridge the sun was beginning to set and gave me the change to play with some amazing lighting conditions. This photo was taken from mainland scotland towards the Isle of Skye with the Skye bridge in the distance.
