Today's challenge of the Foto7daagse (7 days of Photo challenges) is "new". In Dutch "Nieuw".
In our village, we have a unique situation. One street is half Dutch and half German. This is the "Nieuwstraat", "Neustrasse" of Newstreat.
This is a famous street or perhaps infamous because in 1978 there was an incident with two RAF members Rolf and Adelheit. They wanted to pass illegally the border. Here they thought it is easy. But it came to a confrontation between them and customs.
