Dawn of a new year

Thankyou for the comments hearts and stars for yesterday’s 365th blip, very much appreciated.

This shot was taken around 5.30am on the way home from picking up my son from the new year celebrations in the city ! The beach was surprisingly busy - a number of people keen to herald in the sunrise on the first day of the year. One little boat was heading out to catch the early fish too.
