Lincoln

If you've been following my blips you will know that we saw a statue of Abraham Lincoln a week ago when we were in Edinburgh. It was commemorating Scottish-American soldiers killed in the American Civil War.

We saw him again today in the cinema at the Artrix Arts Centre in Bromsgrove. Well, it was Daniel Day-Lewis really, but I would have sworn blind it was Lincoln if I had passed him in the street.

Another very busy day at work followed by a fairly early start for the film left me with nothing to offer for a blip today other than this shot of the poster.

I very much enjoyed the film. Spielberg's best effort for some time in my opinion.
