Old Harry Rocks
After an early start and a morning with Mum - J and I arrive in Studland in time to walk out to Old Harry Rocks. It’s a place we know well, almost a ’home from home’ and this is always the first walk we do. And for a first anniversary blip Harry (in the thumbnail) makes for a passable number one.
Counting my blessings, although this is a strange time with Mum in end of life care. I’m grateful to my brother and sister in law for their generous hospitality and also for making this difficult time also, at times, an enjoyable one. Lovely meal out last night before boggling the evening away. And an anniversary feels a good time to say thank you blip - for being host to beauty, technology, information, connection - and for those magic moments - where there is a sense of synchronicity and the weaving of a web which holds, supports and enriches - and thanks to everyone who makes it so.
Also want to acknowledge J, for general encouragement, for big camera carrying and who took the best picture today! First extra
Happy New Year
