dystopian December
When you want a taxi there never is one but with nowhere to go taxis are in abundance. With flights to the UK reduced the most lucrative routes have disappeared. The restrictions to hospitality mean that many drivers are struggling to get fares. Taxis remind me of nights out from way back, they were like gold dust. Everything is interlinked and the dire state Britain now finds itself in is evident to all. The most important jobs no longer feel as if they are valued. The least important celebrated. It's a topsy turvy world. Tonight we celebrate, tomorrow we recover then we are back to the hard task of plodding on.
