A lovely walk…

up a hill I haven’t been up for a few years, Carn Daimh, the highest point on the Speyside Way. Never approached it from the north either.
Lots of Crossbills around. No people, perhaps too early.
Very warm walking, although actually only 5° , no wind made it feel much warmer. When the sun rose it was very pleasant.
Put a ‘Plainbow’ in as an extra as it was quite a sight. It appeared as a searchlight,  it it was a ray of sun shining through a chink in the clouds. Decided to call it this.
