Backblipping trip to Fort Augustus


Cracking breakfast at the Caledonian Centre. Then a lovely walk to Kytra, one of the prettiest locks on the Caledonian Canal. We sat and watched the boats coming through for a while, in the sun.

Back to Fort Augustus for a touristy boat trip on Loch Ness -we tried to take in all the facts and figures from the guide - the depth, the cold, the monster sightings... ;-)

Our booked fancy meal didn't disappoint - and it was warm enough for a cocktail sitting out too.
