Tile mystery solved

The toilet has always had painted tiles. Today we stripped a wall to find out what was underneath. Was a bit of a shock really since what was there bore no resemblance to anything else in the style of the house. Hey ho! Oh well, we shall just paint over them again - a different colour though. Creamy white?
