hope for the new year

Every fall the Huntington's Disease Society of America sells Amaryllis bulbs as a fundraiser for research for a cure.They call the event "Hope for the Cure." It does indeed inspire hope for the future when I see a dried out bulb produce a beautiful  bloom in 7 weeks. And I am hoping the world will heal and bloom in the coming year.
