Out with the Old

The old year fades away and we anticipate the arrival of a new year.

A quick visit to the corner shop this morning. Weather is not cold, but there was a little drizzle.

I have no intention of waiting up to see in the New Year, that is something I stopped doing several years ago. Usually I hear a lot of fireworks, maybe the transition will be a bit more subdued this time. I might allow myself a glass of Prosecco this evening.
