Where has it gone?

A friend and I were walking in yet again glorious weather - plenty of blips and spoiled for choice about which one to put on.

We had walked through some snow, but not too deep. However, we crossed a stile and realized that the narrow sheep path we usually followed had disappeared - covered by a deep drift of snow - judging by the height of the drift next to the fence posts it must have been over a metre in parts. Hard to believe it's what - ten days since the snow - plus several days of sunshine, and this is basically low level central Scotland!
