Plan B

It was supposed to be golf for the boys and a long walk for me and No.1 today, however an email from the golf club explained the course was waterlogged.  I had to come up with alternative plans so decided on a different walk and pub lunch.  We started off at Tudely church to see the beautiful Marc Chagall stained glass windows.  I had been a few years ago with girlfriends, but it was good to see them again.  We then did a very muddy circular walk and got a bit damp (rain and perspiration as it was so mild). Late lunch in the pub and home for a game of Train Tracks (or something like that?). No.1’s fiancé is a games fan and competitive to boot, but I always lose interest half way through so came last.  Cheese and iced toffee vodka finished the day.  No.2 drove home but was very entertaining company all day.  A definite 9.5/10 sort of day as it is not often we are all together so I do cherish those days.
