Eagle and magpie

This view is my 'daily bread'. I love watching the tits, woodpeckers, and today especially the eagle. When I said the other day that the eagle was stalking the birds from top of the tree, I'll take my words back. Watching today the concentration with which the eagle was eating whatever had been provided for him, I could see that the small birds do not even exist for that huge bird. 

He shooed away the magpie that came too close, and he even pushed away the female eagle.
