Tidy-Up Time

We are home alone again, just us and two exhausted cats. A week of evading enthusiastic stroking by competing children, interspersed with tormenting a great timid lump of a dog, has quite worn them out. 

We are pretty wrung out too - but we are back in our own bed tonight and the restoring of order can wait till tomorrow. It was lovely to have the whole family here, but a bit of peace and quiet now will be relished.

Messing about in post-processing is always a good way to relax. I didn't go far for the subject matter ( extra, a very large log waiting to go into the stove). I quite like the cliff-edge effect that considerable faffing produced.

I'm hoping to catch up over the weekend ....
