New skill

Making a present for someone that involved me casting off for the first time. Satisfying and I think they'll be pleased. Shocked mainly but pleased also. Fortunately it was a lot easier than I had psyched myself up for as it is a working evening. Have planned the summer school holidays much better workwise.

Good day though with lots of playing in the garden before the snowy blizzards arrived and sent us indoors for lots of playing there. Mainly yahtzee and a new board game the kids have created with Perri that is really quite fabulous.

Brief interlude for some work then back to the play.

And now back to the work. But only so tomorrow can be total uninterrupted play so worth it.
