Curry night

We’ve been buying sauces from Anila for nearly a quarter of a century. She used to have a stall in the local community hospital where we both worked but has popped up all over the place down the years at various markets and even in Harrods food hall.

We had the dansak korma sauce tonight and it was absolutely delicious. Cooked in the oven in the new Indian bowl that TSM bought me for Christmas, aubergines, chickpeas and green beans. My rice was also rather dreamy. Love it when food comes together like that.

Busy day in the home office, lots of cats to corral; Mrs B our cleaner came in thank god, we’ve missed her whilst we were self isolating. 

Concert in aid of Afghan refugees online tonight, organised by one of my wonderful colleagues at work.

Insanely warm today, fourteen degrees at one point.
