The Dirty Duchess

I've blipped this pub before but decided to do it again today as its been in the news recently.

In the UK a mini series called  'A Very British Scandel' was on television this week.  It is a dramatisation of the 1963 divorce of the Duke and Duchess of Argyll which resulted in a scadalous court case.  This Pub was named after the rather harsh nickname given to the Duchess at the time.

It was only when I looked at the photograph closely I noticed the quirky sign outside the pub with the popular quote  -   " Alcohol because no great story ever started with a salad"
