The turning year
Hazel and I had a short wander on the Green this morning. Growing seasons never really stop as I lazily think they do and it's already noticable that the hazel catkins have begun to separate and lengthen. They are not yet shedding pollen, nor are the tiny crimson female flowers visible so far, but it still seems very early to be starting wildflower spotting again. So lovely!
As for the rest of the day, it's been uniformly dark and damp and I've not been inspired to do anything much. Never mind, I expect the sun will come back in January.
Look after yourselves, lovely blip peeps xx
