Fancy a dip?

If you enjoy icy water (being in it rather than drinking it) you might like to enlist as a student in Tampere University of Technology. The (crazy) tradition is that their students are dipped in very cold water of Tammerkoski river on May Day. Thousands of people gather to watch. The lake where that water comes from was still frozen less than two weeks ago...

Today is a fantastic spring day - so sunny and warm that it almost feels like summer already! =)
