Testing our wits

Sadly, the period of lovely weather has come to an end for the moment and we are back to grey and damp once again. However, our evening was filled with bright smiles and laughter which more than made up for the dreich weather. Six of us met up to share a delicious meal to which we had all contributed, the highlight of which was the lemon meringue pie made by C using lemons that she had grown herself by her living room window. It was out of this world! Afterwards, we played Perudo, an old South American dice game which requires a lot of guesswork and bluffing, and there was plenty of that. Altogether, it was a memorable evening.
