 ................ Whisper's DNA results arrived today.

A couple (??) of surprises in there .......... 

29% Segugio Italiano - similar-ish body style, temperament matches (stubborn & single-minded) but .......?

13% Chihuahua - really?  Same tail though!!

7% Peruvian Inca Orchid - body shape similar but ......... ??

6% German Shepherd - again, really?

5% Estrela Mountain - can't see it at all.

4% Fijian Street Dog - yep, can see a fair bit of that but how? It's a long way away from Romania!!

4% Catalan Sheepdog - like the Estrela, can't see it.

4% Chinese Chongqing - how the hell??  Nope!

3% Polynesian Street Dog - now I can see my boy - head small in proportion to body, colour right, same ears .......  :o))

3% Danish/Swedish Farmdog - again, can see some likeness - straight stiff legs, similar head shape and curly tail.

In the extras is a recycled photo of Whisper - the closest I could get to the example photos in the report.

Being 29% Italian we should have called him Luigi, I reckon!!

As we love him so much we don't care what his heritage is - he will always be our MisterWhisper the RSD - (Romanian Street Dog) - our special boy.
