It is six months since my last Covid -19 injection so this afternoon it was ‘booster’ day.

Covid update
60 new community cases - 20 Auckland, 1 Northland, 28 Waikato, 8 Bay of Plenty, 1 Lakes DHB, 1 Tairawhiti, 1 Canterbury
44 in hospital, with 7 in intensive care
6 new cases of Omicron identifies at the border (total now 78)

Sadly, yesterday’s confirmed community case of Omicron left self-isolation before receiving the results from his final Covid test - which of course came back positive!
