Doorways

I took this photo while I was waiting for my friend Charlotte at the end of the working day. We always leave together as the first part of both our journeys home is the same (the walk to Bank). She's normally ready before me (most people usually are), but occasionally I end up waiting for her - today I sat in our general office, glanced out towards the reception area and thought how calm and bright it looked. I love working in a quirky old building, and especially like the archways in reception. The staircase is pretty cool, too - might have to get a photo of that another time.

I know it looks a bit like this scene was bathed in sunlight, but it's been another cold, sleety, snowy day today. Looking forward to some warmer weather soon!
