despite my eye condition - and all the ongoing - frustrations it’s continuing - to provide for me - the continued spasms - eyelids remaining closed - not being able to read - watch tv, drive - having a sense - of lack of freedom - or a removal of - my very independence - of just being able - to do daily kinds - of things, the sorts - of things we so often - take for granted - don’t give a second thought to

in spite of all that - i managed to finish - this little puzzle - it’s about 115 pieces in all - so no not huge - but right now - for someone like me - with this current neurological condition - it almost seemed - overwhelming at times - which may sound silly - to you if you don’t struggle - with a sight issue - or eye spasms - or eyes which refuse - to stay open

perhaps a year ago - i may have been - right there but no longer - now i have the - utmost compassion for those - who cannot see - who struggle with blindness - every day because i remain - extremely fortunate - i am classified as functionally blind - i can still see - have the ability to focus - appreciate abba’s earth - can take a photo - and clearly can experience…
