The year turns…

…and so does the Garlic --->upwards.
Stuck for a Blip after all the opportunities in Sheffield I had a garden micro-prowl.  Result - harvested some more Oca, spotted the emerging Garlic on my nearly-raised Beds; you can see the next raise at the near edge, waiting to be added to raise it a wee bit more, cover the Garlic, and the dead Oca vegetation.
I also put in some, supposedly Autumn planting, "Jermor" Shallots; different Bed, if I remember aright this one's full of Garlic

We shall see? They didn't look "half-long" to me.

"Autumn planting.
Shallot 'Jermor' is from French production of Jersey 'half long' types with long, rather than rounded bulbs that are often referred to as 'banana' shallots. The shiny copper-skinned bulbs with crisp, pink-tinged flesh make this a favourite with exhibitors. This RHS AGM variety is equally popular in the kitchen for its superb sweet taste. An excellent variety for autumn planting with good storage potential."
