Sunset over the fens

The road I usually use to get to Ely has been shut while they resurface it yet again. The trouble is that the road keeps subsiding because it’s an artificially high strip of land running next to artificially drained land. That is, it’s a road in the fens; what do you expect?

Anyway, Google Maps tells me it’s open now, but I didn’t look before I went out. I’ll know for next time.
