A glimpse of the sun

The rain continued until lunchtime but later in the afternoon I saw a glimpse of the sun for the first time in over two weeks. It was very welcome. I went for a quick walk around the lanes having spent the morning clearing out and packing the utility room, porch and the clock cleaning area. It seems we have all been encouraged to use tests before meeting people in the run up to New Year. However, despite the private Test and Trace scheme, funded to the tune of £37 billion, there have been no tests available today. This is undoubtedly the worst government of my lifetime on so many fronts. Rant over.
