C or S?

I’m hoping this is a cormorant.
I’ve never seen one at Strichen until this week.
I wonder how they know to come here! Do they just happen to be flying over and see an area of water and drop down to have a look!
Or do they have a copy of the guide book “Best places for shags and cormorants to land”
