Dirty dancing.

A bit of an emergency blip, as we haven't been out. Our daughter's central heating broke yesterday, and although they are with British Gas, they wouldn't come out. They were told to phone their insurance company and they would recommend someone to come and have a look. A engineer arrived but he couldn't do anything as it has to go back to the insurers so that they can give permission to go ahead with the job. What a nightmare, and the earliest British Gas can come out is the 14th January .It just doesn't make sense. Our g/daughter phoned to ask if she could have a shower here, and of course we said yes.
