Appledore

Our last full day in Devon and my first ever visit to Appledore. Despite it being April 4th it was bitterly cold with a wicked wind off the sea. After lunch in a delightful local deli selling Devon pasties, pies and cider we wandered the empty streets.
The locals must be desperate for some good weather to attract tourists, we walked for 10 minutes around lunchtime and saw less than five people.
