Today was the first time that S felt able to go for a walk after his operation over six weeks ago so we chose some quiet local country roads as the paths were extremely muddy.  We were under dark cloud till shortly before sunset when the sun appeared and had looked enviously across the Forth to Fife where the sun seemed to shine all day and the distant Grampian mountains shone under their blanket of snow.  It felt good to be out with S again enjoying the countryside walks.
